Cape Town Missions Project

At their most recent meeting, the MACBA Board approved that I accept an invitation to visit Cape Town, South Africa this October to offer a series of training modules for local pastors. CBAmerica has been invited to serve the pastors in South Africa, and I am honored to be a member of the team. The CBAmerica team will visit Cape Town from October 17 - 27, and my contribution to the team will be to offer Marriage and Family Training for pastors and ministry couples.

We will work with John Doyle, Executive Director for Cape Town Ministries http://www.capemissionsint.co.za. John visited our National CBAmerica Summit last summer in Minneapolis. At our meetings, he introduced his ministry and expressed his desire to work with CBAmerica because of our sound doctrinal roots. John also introduced his friend Jeffrey who is a pastor in a squatter camp outside of Cape Town. Jeffrey’s mission field is a squatter camp made up of two million people. It is people like Jeffrey I will be honored to serve through this Cape Town Missions Project.

Your prayer support is vital to the success of this project. Will you pray with me that our visit will encourage pastors and other leaders in this needy part of the world?

Along with your prayer support, I would like to invite you to share in the financial needs of this project. The total cost of this trip, including plane fare and expenses on the ground, is $3,000. If you are led to contribute financially to this project, send your check to Janice Kulp, our MACBA Treasurer. Please make your check out to MACBA and designate it for the Cape Town Missions Project. Janice’s address is PO Box 692, Hatboro, PA. 19040.

I will provide regular updates about our upcoming Cape Town Missions Project on this blog. Thank you for your support.

~ Jim
