My father passed away a little after six am this morning. We will make the trip to WV tomorrow immediately after a wedding I will be officiating. We will most likely make the arrangements on Sunday for his memorial service sometime next week. I will post that information as soon as it is available. Thanks for your prayer for our family during this time.

    Jim,
    Something drew me to your blog today where I have seen your note about Uncle Tom. I am so, so very sorry to hear of his passing. We thought he was on the road to recovery. Please convey our sorrow to the rest of your family. I have called Mom and we will pass word to Sharon and Steph.

    Jim,
    It has been 5 years since my own beloved dad passed away and I still miss him. He was 84. Nevertheless, I remind myself that he already enjoyed God's gift of extra years (Psalm 90:10). Immanuel Church will pray for you tonight at our Prayer Vigil.
