Time Flies

Wow, can't believe it has been ten days since my last post. There has been a swirl of activity here. Last weekend I made a trip to Washington, PA and preached for my dear friend Fred McCloskey. Dr. Fred McCloskey is Pastor of Calvary Baptist Church in Washington, PA.

We scheduled this preaching event several months ago. Little did we know that Fred's father, who lived with him, would pass away last Friday. I am so glad that I was already scheduled to preach that Sunday's service. This freed Fred up to attend to the many details that need to be done. This evening is the viewing for Fred's father and the service will be held tomorrow morning in the Washington, PA area. Please keep Fred and his family in prayer.

We also ask you to pray for Pastor Joel MacDonald, Pastor of Southwood Baptist Church in Woodbury, NJ. Joel learned last week that he has a 2 inch mass in the right side of his brain. Please pray that God will grant wisdom regarding the best way to deal with this challenge.

Thanks for praying for the pastors and churches in our region. The challenges are great but we serve a greater God!
