Safe Return From Haiti

Pastor Ray Laird arrived home safely last night. Here is an email he sent this afternoon.

Subject: Safe Return from Haiti!

Hey Everyone,

Just wanted to let everyone know we, Chris Duncan, Jeff Wells and myself are all home from Haiti safe and sound.

Thank you all for your prayers, God was with us as we traveled to Port-Au-Prince yesterday and boarded a C-17 transport jet bound for Maguire Airforce Base. The city of Port-Au-Prince is devastated as I am sure you have seen in video, in real life it is pretty much indescribable. We drove the 4 hours into the city and to the airport without incidence and I know this was because of the prayers of all of you, THANKS!

A huge thank you to the US Military who efficiently had us processed and on a flight home in less than 1 1/2 hours after arrival at the Airport. An even bigger thank you to God for getting us on the plane heading to N.J. without us even knowing where it was going upon boarding.

PS. Continue to pray for the people of Haiti, for wisdom of the leaders heading up relief and for the families who still do not know the condition of their loved ones.
