I can't believe the end of 2011 is just around the corner. I spent many late nights throughout this year reading books on my Kindle and iPad. I've read many this year, but below are my three most influential books for various reasons. Each of these challenged me in different ways.
1. Decision Points by George W. Bush
2. The Enemies of Excellence by Greg Salciccioli
3. Bonhoeffer by Eric Metaxas
What books influenced you the most this year? Also, let me know if there are books you recommend that I put on my reading list for 2012. I look forward, like you, to learn new things in the new year.

A great book i read TWICE this year was JESUS + NOTHING = EVERYTHING by Tullian Tchidjian. Not sure on spelling of last name. This is Billy Graham's grandson, a reformed pastor, with great insights on grace, idolatry and legalism. I highly recommend it.
ReplyDeleteThanks Dave. I follow Tullian on Twitter and hope to read that book soon. Thanks for your recommendation and I will add it to my 2012 reading list. Merry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteEmotional Intelligence - Daniel Goleman
ReplyDeleteCrazy Love - Francis Chan
Switch - Chip Heath & Dan Heath
Thanks Trent. I have read Crazy Love and Switch, but not Emotional Intelligence. Will add that to my 2012 reading list. Thanks for the suggestions. Merry Christmas brother!
