Morning Bible Note 12/10/07

This morning I read from Revelation 17.1-18, and I like to use Scripture Union's Bible Guide, Encounter With God, as I have my daily devotions. This passage in Revelation is a reminder that the evil we see in our world today will eventually come to an end. Colossians 1.12,13 tells us that God has already delivered us from the power of darkness. As my devotional guide notes: "No matter what happens, God is still in control. He is Lord over all!" What a way to start the day!
