I had a great weekend with the men of Millington Baptist at their Men's Retreat at America's Keswick! We explored the issue of discipleship together and their questions and interaction, during the sessions and also during our meals together, was very stimulating. I used The Ascent of a Leader as the basis of our discussion. Their use of two ladders, capacity and character, is a great way to illustrate the need for considering character as the basis for leadership in the church.
