Nick Greenwood, CBChaplain to the Music Industry, sent me a letter that I would like to pass along to you.

This is an awesome door of opportunity that God has opened, and I encourage you to share this his letter with those who may be interested in partnering with him.

Here is Nick's letter:

Dear Pastor:

My name is Nick Greenwood, CB Chaplain to the Music Industry. You are receiving this letter because your regional CB Director and I are partnering together to meet a great need in our culture.

This letter is a request for your active support and endorsement.

Under the umbrellas of CB and another Christian non-profit organization called The Grove Center for the Arts and Media, I am creating and directing a program called RYFO Network. We need your help.

My request: Help us find HOST HOMES.

We are seeking to find families across the country that resonate with the need for serving traveling Christian musicians as they are away from their ordinary systems of support (churches, families, etc.). A host homes' service would include providing things such as beds, a meal, use of laundry machines, internet, showers, prayer. etc., so that the musicians may better accomplish their commission. Ideally, a Host Home should be a place there musicians can sleep comfortably, relax and stay without any obligations. Commitments are for one night at a time to minimize "freeloading" and protect the home's family time and space. Each Host Home will be a part of a networked list that musicians have access to when planning tours.

Would you be willing to assist me in finding one ideal servant family within your church that would love to serve traveling musicians in this way? The sacrifice that a host home will make is minimal, but the result and impact on the community of traveling musicians will be huge. Our dream and prayer is to see the local church have a ministry WITHIN this music industry that is so influential. This is possible!
